Undercurrent

A solitary man becomes consumed by the decades-old disappearance of a young girl. Drawn repeatedly to the hum of his laundry room, he slips into strange trance-like visions where memories, dreams, and half-forgotten childhood experiences begin to intertwine. Blending surreal imagery, musical interludes, and an atmosphere of unsettling nostalgia, this stop-motion puppet film explores loss, memory, and the stories we tell ourselves to make sense of the unknowable. As reality dissolves into something more dreamlike, the truth remains elusive, leaving the final answer for the audience to uncover.
